1. Agreement and Acceptance

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and Mindyield SMPC, a single-member private company established in Greece (“Mindyield”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), governing your use of the busyfold service and related websites (the “Service”), including busyfold.cc and app.busyfold.cc.

By creating an account, connecting a calendar, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. The Service

busyfold is a hosted software service that mirrors free/busy availability across the Google and Microsoft calendars you choose to connect and provides scheduling links for booking time with you. When you link source and destination calendars, busyfold reads busy periods from source calendars and writes generic availability blocks to destination calendars so that people viewing those calendars can see that the time is unavailable without seeing the details of the underlying events.

busyfold is designed to copy when you are busy, not what you are busy with. Event titles, attendees, descriptions, locations, attachments, and video-call links from source events are never written to destination calendars as sync blocks. If you use scheduling links, invitee-submitted booking details are used to create and manage the resulting calendar invite. For full details on how the Service handles your data, see the Privacy Policy.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

To use busyfold you must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (at least 16 years old, or 18 in jurisdictions where 16 is insufficient for this purpose). By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@busyfold.cc if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You may not share your account with others, create accounts on behalf of third parties without their consent, or use the Service in any manner that violates applicable law.

4. Calendar Connections

To use busyfold you must authorise it to access one or more Google or Microsoft calendars through the provider’s OAuth flow. By connecting a calendar you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the owner of, or are otherwise duly authorised to grant third-party access to, the Google or Microsoft account and calendars you connect.
  • Connecting the calendar does not violate any agreement you have with your employer, organisation, Google, or Microsoft.

Your use of the Google Calendar API through busyfold is also subject to Google’s Terms of Service , and your use of the Microsoft Graph / Outlook Calendar API is subject to the Microsoft Services Agreement . busyfold’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements; information received from Microsoft APIs is handled to the same standard.

You may disconnect any calendar at any time from within the app or by revoking busyfold’s access through your Google or Microsoft account security settings. Upon disconnection, busyfold will stop syncing that calendar and will delete the stored OAuth tokens for it.

5. Plans, Billing, and Payments

busyfold is offered on two plans:

  • Free — $0 per month, with limits on the number of calendar connections and sync frequency.
  • Pro — $7 per month or $70 per year, with higher limits and additional features, including scheduling.

All payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record and reseller for busyfold subscriptions. When you subscribe to the Pro plan, you are purchasing from Paddle, which handles payment processing, VAT/tax calculation, and invoicing in accordance with applicable law.

Pro subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically on the billing cycle you choose until cancelled. Prices are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law. Applicable VAT or sales tax may be added at checkout depending on your location.

We reserve the right to change the price of the Pro plan. If we do, we will give you reasonable advance notice (at least 30 days), and the new price will apply at your next renewal after the notice period. Continued use of the Pro plan after the new price takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from within the app or by contacting us at support@busyfold.cc. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account will revert to the Free plan. You will not be charged for subsequent periods.

EU statutory withdrawal rights: If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a subscription contract within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, subject to the conditions of Directive 2011/83/EU. If you have already accessed and used the Service during the withdrawal period, you may be charged for the proportional value of the service provided up to the point of withdrawal.

Outside of statutory rights, refunds are handled in accordance with Paddle’s buyer terms and applicable consumer protection law. We do not guarantee refunds for partial billing periods beyond what law requires. To request a refund, contact us at support@busyfold.cc and we will assist you.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mindyield SMPC’s total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the fees you paid to us (via Paddle) in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. For Free plan users, this cap is €0.

In no event shall Mindyield be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages (including lost profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill) arising out of or in connection with the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mindyield SMPC and its officers from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any third party’s rights through your use of the Service.

This indemnification obligation is proportionate and does not apply to the extent that the claim arises from our own negligence or breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement formed by these Terms at any time. You may terminate by deleting your account; we may terminate or suspend your access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or for any other reason with reasonable notice where practicable.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will revoke stored OAuth tokens and delete your account data in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 10, 11, 12, and 14) will continue to apply.
